Totally silicone-free, the wax has a 76% by wax volume of pure Brazilian ivory Carnauba wax and has one of the highest Carnauba contents of any wax on the market and has been rigorously tested by Paul to ensure it meets his exacting standards.

Cleaning cars since he was 13, Paul Dalton has been declared "The worlds best car cleaner" by Fifth Gear. He is renowned for his meticulous methods, with his ultimate package (more commonly known worldwide as the "£5,000 car wash") having no less than 61 stages. When Paul started Miracle Detail his drive and enthusiam turned his childhood pastime into an extremely successful business. He developed this passion for his craft into a highly technical and precise art. Having spent years using wax formulations created by other companies, a dissatisfied Paul began working closely with the experts at Swissvax to create a brand new formulation that contains the ultimate balance of properties.

Swissvax are a family owned company who have been creating Carnauba wax formulations since 1930. Their legendary reputation for Swiss precision and exacting manufacture has resulted in exclusive OEM status with Rolls-Royce, Mercedes-Benz Classic and Spyker, to name but a few. This, combined with Paul's in depth knowledge of detailing the world's finest cars, made them the perfect partners to create such a finely tuned wax.

The key properties of any car wax are shine, durability, beading, and ease of application. Whilst each of these in isolation are not difficult to accomplish, Paul felt Swissvax were the only manufacturer capable of consistently achieving the right balance of all these properties according to his specifications.

Of particular importance to Paul is the wax's ease of application. In the past he found good quality waxes required a great deal of skill to apply. To make his wax more accessible to the general public Paul insisted that Crystal Rock be more user friendly, allowing not just professional detailers to fully appreciate his signature on their car.

The creation of Crystal Rock by Paul Dalton and Swissvax is true marriage of quality and excellence.. It is presented with a lid of solid Swarovski crystal, designed by Daniel Swarovski himself. The identical wax is, however, also available in a standard black Swissvax pot in a satin pouch with a certificate personally signed by Paul himself for $1100.
